The 100 Biggest Books Of The 2010s / How Many Have You Read?

There’s a tweet going around Twitter at the moment which is a poorly written list of the 100 biggest classic books, asking how many people have read. I find it annoying, both because we need to stop stanning classic books and also because it lists the entire series of Narnia and the two lines down lists The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe?

I was around blogging during the 2010s and I remember a lot of these most hyped books (I have read a lot of them but have no memory), so I’d love to see how many you’ve read! Feel free to save these lists, cross off the ones you’ve read and tweet me or comment!

(Extra thanks to @akindofshark on Twitter for letting me babble about how to make this list in their dms, I really do appreciate you very much)

The Disclaimers:
– I can only cover 10 books to each year so don’t get mad at me if you don’t see your fave 😭
– I’m only going to add the first of the series so future books in the series won’t count, but also you don’t need to have read every book in the series to count it
– Because of the awkwardness of books like Mockingjay coming out in 2010 (I can’t just not have Hunger Games), I’m going to count books that were popular in the 2010s, not just released in the 2010s
– We’re just going to ignore that I put Wicked Lovely twice

I put Wicked Lovely twice here so to replace one: What Happened To Goodbye by Sarah Dessen

If I remember I’ll add a link to this post on Twitter here!

How many of these books have you read? Let me know in the comments!

  1. Lol, i think i read most of the books on the list. Some of them became my favorites and still stay until this day. But it’s especially weird to look at books like hush hush or twilight – i was obsessed with them back in the day but now it seems funny.

  2. I’ve only read 36😅
But honestly so happy to see some of my faves on here that you don’t hear too much about.
Under the Never Sky, Angelfall, The Shadow Queen — definitely people should read them!

  3. Really interesting post, this is a great idea! I’ve read 5 of these books – Throne Of Glass, Red Queen, My Lady Jane, Two Can Keep A Secret, and Legend. I’ve also got Cinder and The Hate U Give, so hopefully I will have read 7 soon!
