Weekly Reading

Weekly Reading Update // 15th January

It’s the first reading week of the year! I think I’m off to a great start, with plenty of 4 star reads this week.

Physical TBR Count
(Accountability tracker as I’m trying to get this down to 100!)
Last Week: 304
This Week: 311 💀

It was payday yesterday and I STILL have gift cards from Christmas that I wanted to spend, so I went to the The Works and bought two book packs (Caraval series and Midnight’s Twins series) and er still haven’t spent the gift cards 😂

Read This Week

  • You, Me, and Our Heartstrings by Melissa See // ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ // The romance could be a little too cute in comparison to the vicious ableism, but I did like this overall.
  • The Six Deaths of the Saint by Alix E. Harrow // ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ // This is only 30 pages long and still managed to make me cry.
  • A Million to One by Adiba Jaigirdar // ⭐️⭐️ // A story set on the titanic shouldn’t bore me this much, but I had trouble remembering which character was speaking and much like the ship the plot had holes.
  • The Stolen Heir by Holly Black // ⭐️⭐️⭐️ // Too much infodumping, Oak was cardboard Cardan, plot was weak. BUT I did love Wren? Hope the sequel picks up.
