Weekly Reading

Weekly Reading Update // 5th March

I found out I’m not going to be able to afford Eurovision tickets this week but OH WELL, I’m planning a birthday trip to make up for it. We’re still waiting for the UK entry to be announced, which everyone thinks is going to be Rina Sawayama’s Frankenstein, so if they announce something different after this long waiting the internet may just explode 😂

Read This Week

  • Wicked Little Things by Justin Arnold // ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ // This was a really fun, camp read about a murderous man-bunny in small town america and a coven of witches
  • Dreams Lie Beneath by Rebecca Ross // ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ // Sorcery Of Thorns vibes, I do kinda wish this was a whole series
  • Unraveller by Frances Hardinge // ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ // Sheer fantasy chaos featuring spiders that gift curses, this story reads older than Frances’s other books and is her best work yet
  • The Girl Who Came Out of the Woods by Emily Barr // ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ // Partly set in a isolated commune in India, this story was depressing as hell but I loved it anyway
  • Tarnished City: Not All are Equal by Vic James (Dark Gifts #2) // ⭐️⭐️⭐️ // Second Book Syndrome, I had to skim read some parts I was so bored. The ending picked up though
